Journal of the Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Technicians

POBE webinar series on December 16-17, 2020.

Is the energy transition forcing a revolution in the building industry?

How will the Green Deal and the Renovation Wave affect energy efficiency in buildings?

What technologies related to energy supply and consumption of buildings will be prioritized and promoted in the coming years?

Do the new Technical Conditions 2021 mean a revolution in the equipment of new buildings and are we in for another tightening of regulations?

Starting in July 2020. The European Commission is presenting, one by one, the most important strategies of the European Green Deal showing how the energy transition in the European Union will proceed. All of them will affect changes to the most important directives and other EU and national regulations related to the efficiency of buildings and the use of RES, but also – to the systems of subsidizing investments, the banking market, the insurance market and directly to the scope of activity of production and service companies related to building technology. Already, two major strategies: Integration of Energy Sectors and Renovation Wave point to the need for fundamental changes in the approach to energy efficiency – this will be apparent to all of us in the coming years.

It is worth preparing for these changes in advance, since many of them mean a real revolution, if only in the area of energy supply to buildings.

Join us for webinars:December 16-17, 2020.

The Industry Alliance for Energy Efficiency (POBE) has prepared a series of webinars on this topic, which will take place on December 16-17, 2020. During the online meetings, experts from POBE and POBE-affiliated organizations will present specific EU policies relating to our industry (in the context of current and planned EU strategies). They will also try to explain many important issues related to the implementation of this policy in Poland, energy efficiency of buildings or new technical conditions.

Among other things, it will be possible to learn:

– What is the EU’s core energy strategy on Energy Sector Integration and the Green Deal strategy, and what does this mean for the industry?

– What will change in the technical equipment and standard of residential buildings from January 2021 in connection with the new WT 2021? What is the prospect of using heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems (ventilation with heat recovery, heat pumps, photovoltaics, solar panels) and thermal insulation of the partitions in new buildings?

– What further changes in the technical conditions of buildings can we expect in the coming years?

– What will be the role of solutions based on renewable energy sources and will fossil fuel heating solutions be supported in the new budget perspective of the European Union?

– Does the European Commission support specific solutions in the energy transition as part of the Green Deal? What role in the Renovation Wave is envisioned for prefabricated, off-the-shelf buildings?

– What is taxonomy and how will it affect the development of sustainable solutions in heating and heating systems in Poland?

– In what direction should design and installation companies develop in the coming years?

You are cordially invited to participate in the webinars and discuss with POBE experts!

During the webinars, a PREMIERE of two tutorials is scheduled:

– POBE’s guide to the EU Energy System Integration Strategy and the “Renovation Wave”

– An update of the How to meet the requirements to which buildings should conform from 2021?” guide.

The webinars are organized by the Industry Alliance for Energy Efficiency (POBE), which includes:

– Main Section of Heating Heating Ventilation and Heating Atmospheric Engineering of the Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Technicians,

– Polish Corporation of Sanitary, Heating, Gas and Air-Conditioning Technology,

– Photovoltaic Industry Association Poland PV,

– Association of Energy Efficient Manufactured Homes,

– Polish Ventilation Association,

– Polish Heat Pump Technology Development Organization,

– Association of Manufacturers and Importers of Heating Equipment.

Experts from POBE-affiliated organizations will also be speakers during the webinars: Association of Manufacturers of Glass and Rock Mineral Wool (MIWO) and Polish Association of Employers of Wholesalers of Heating, Sanitary, Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Ventilation ZHI.
