Przedstawiono studium przypadku na podstawie 18-letniego wielorodzinnego budynku mieszkalnego. Uzyskano wyniki w zakresie redukcji zapotrzebowania na ciep\u0142o budynku o 26%, a tak\u017ce pokrycia zapotrzebowania na energi\u0119 elektryczn\u0105 w niemal 85% w cz\u0119\u015bciach wsp\u00f3lnych budynku oraz na zapewnienie ok. 18% of energy for hot water preparation by PV installation.<br\/>The example discussed above shows that including thermal upgrading measures in existing buildings is justified and can lead to a significant reduction in energy poverty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keywords: energy poverty, multi-family buildings, thermo-modernisation, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, the cost of heat supply<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abstract<br\/>Meeting the climate goals requires action also for the existing buildings.<br\/>This paper analyzes the possibilities of reducing energy poverty focusing on technical aspects such as thermal modernization and application of RES in multi-family buildings. A case study based on an 18-year-old multi-family building was presented. The article presents the possibilities of storing coolness in an sensible form, based on the heat capacity of the storage material, which is most often water, and in a latent form, enabling the storage of coolness in phase transformations during the charging and discharging process of the storage material, often referred to as PCM (Phase Chane Material \u2012 a material that changes the state of aggregation). The heat associated with the change of state of aggregation is several times greater than the specific heat of a given material, it is possible to obtain much smaller capacities of the cold storage tanks. The article presents a summary of the volume of coolness accumulators for selected cooling production systems and the related required capacities of devices charging the storage tanks. The article presents a proprietary calculation method that allows to determine the power of a chiller in individual accumulation systems, taking into account the daily variability in the demand for cooling energy or assuming the percentage degree of use of the cooling power from the cooling reservoir. This method makes it possible to calculate the cooling production system for systems in the form of full accumulation, partial accumulation and with a cooling capacity limit. Air pollution forecasting is possible thanks to artificial intelligence models, including artificial neural networks. The article presents a smog forecast model with the use of neural artificial networks based on the volume of PM10 in Nowa Ruda in the period 2019-2020 and meteorological data. A multilayer perceptron neural network type was used for prediction. To improve the quality of the model, a cluster analysis was used, thanks to which a more accurate forecast was obtained. The conducted research shows that the use of cluster analysis to group PM10 values depending on the actual minimum temperature significantly improves the quality of the forecast. This is due to the correlation of low air temperature, which causes home heating, with an increase in low emissions. Using the proposed methodology, the PM10 neural prediction models were obtained, for which the relationship between the observed and predicted data was r=0.99 and the mean square error MSE from 0.021 to 0.159.
